Nisa Leung joined our Board in 2014 and serves as a member of the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee.
Ms. Leung brings to our Board significant venture capital experience in the healthcare industry. Ms. Leung served as a Managing Partner at Qiming Venture Partners, where she founded and led the firm’s healthcare practice since 2006. Under her leadership, Qiming became a pioneering investor in healthcare and biotech sectors, backing some of the most innovative companies in the industry.
Ms. Leung has been consistently recognized as one of the most influential investors in the industry. For example, she has been featured on the Forbes Midas List for seven consecutive years (2019–2025), and in 2024, she was honored as one of Fortune Asia’s Most Powerful Women (MPW Asia).
Ms. Leung earned her MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BS from Cornell University. She is a visiting lecturer at Harvard Law School and a trustee of the Hotchkiss School, and she serves as a member of the Hong Kong University Court, Cornell University International Advisory Council, and Stanford University International Advisory Council.
