ZL-1311 (MUC17xCD3)

Overview

ZL-1311 is a next-generation T-cell engager (TCE) targeting MUC17, a protein that plays a critical role in protecting intestinal epithelial cells and is overexpressed in approximately 29%~75% of GI cancers. As a bispecific antibody, ZL-1311 activates T cells and engages them to bind to MUC17, a promising and druggable antigen, to destroy cancer cells.

ZL-1311 is Zai Lab’s first globally owned TCE and strategically expands the company’s immuno-oncology portfolio while leveraging its established expertise in gastrointestinal cancers.

Zai Lab expects ZL-1311 to enter global clinical development in 2026.
